The Managing Director and CEO of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Dr. Samuel Ogbuku @drsamuelogbuku, was officially inducted as a member of the National Flood, Erosion, Drought, and Desertification Management Council (NFEDDMC) by Vice President Alhaji Kashim Shettima @officialSKSM at the Presidential Villa.
The council is focused on developing a comprehensive strategy to address environmental and climate-related disasters through collaboration among various government agencies and regions.
The Vice President emphasized the importance of a coordinated response to the increasing frequency of natural disasters impacting Nigeria. He encouraged council members to work together to manage nature-related disasters more effectively, advocating for a shift from isolated initiatives to a collaborative, resource-sharing approach for optimal results.
