Chairman of the Protocol Sub-Committee for the forthcoming People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Elective Convention Governor Caleb Mutfwang, has affirmed that the party is fully prepared for its convention scheduled to hold in Ibadan this November.

 

Speaking after inaugurating members of the Protocol Sub-Committee at the Legacy House in Abuja, Mutfwang said the level of preparation reflects the renewed commitment of dedicated party members to keep the PDP strong, united, and focused at a defining moment in Nigeria’s political landscape.

He emphasised the critical role of the Protocol Sub-Committee in ensuring the success of the convention and urged members to demonstrate professionalism, discipline, and excellence in executing their duties.

 

According to him, the meeting was another indication that the PDP remains vibrant and active nationwide, adding that the party is approaching the convention with seriousness and a deep sense of responsibility.

Reaffirming the ideals of the PDP’s founding fathers, Mutfwang described the party as a platform of hope and inclusion for millions of Nigerians that must not be allowed to fade.

 

He expressed appreciation to the Chairman of the Main Planning Committee and Governor of Adamawa State, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, for his leadership and encouragement, noting that his support has further strengthened the Sub-Committee’s resolve to deliver on its mandate.

 

The Plateau Governor reiterated the PDP remains the most credible and people-oriented political platform in Nigeria and across Sub-Saharan Africa, committed to upholding its core values and repositioning itself as a trusted vehicle for democratic renewal.
