The Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Rilwan Disu, has paid a working visit to the Edo State Police Command as part of efforts to strengthen policing operations and improve security across the state.
During the visit, the IGP also paid a courtesy call on the Oba of Benin, His Royal Majesty Omo N’Oba N’Edo, Uku Akpolokpolo, Oba Ewuare II, at his palace in Benin City.
The engagements emphasised the critical role of collaboration between the Nigeria Police Force and traditional institutions in promoting peace, public safety, and community-oriented security initiatives.
