History has it recorded today as the governorship candidate of Social Democratic Party (SDP), Olorogun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi OON in the company of his campaign train took his campaigning with liberation messages to the people of Ughelli North LGA assuring them hope ahead.
This mega rally took place today Saturday 11th February, 2023 with a very colourful and amazing dance steps at the town hall in Ughelli North Local Government area of Delta state.
Gbagi who is recognised as the incoming Governor in the company of his campaign train; the Deputy Governor to be, Mrs. Rosemary Isioma Oshilim, the Campaign Director General, Prof. Jiff Mokobia, the Deputy Campaign Director, Prof. Augustus Atubi. National Vice Chairman of SDP Central, Elder Fred Owotorofa, SDP candidates and other SDP faithfuls first touched the palace of Ovie of Ughelli kingdom, His Royal Majesty, (HEM) Oharisi II before proceeding to the town hall for the Mega Rally to receive a fatherly prayers of blessings and support as the race ahead is not of man but of God.
The industralist in his magnomity doles out free fuel to all motorist (Keke and Okada riders) who was present at the community during the rally while preaching his gospel of liberation to the people of Ughelli North just to ensure they are aware of the danger ahead, if they fail to get ready their PVCs inorder to vote out those party that are insensitive in handling the affairs of Deltans and Delta state in general.
Present at the rally was the State Deputy Chairman, Chief Mrs. Esther Ikwule, Delta Central Senatorial chairman, Mike Dugbo, the House of Representatives candidate for Ughelli north/Ughelli south and Udu federal Constituency, Ejiro Marvis Emarheyo and Ughelli south LGA Chairman, Pastor Amos Osiki, the Director for Peter Obi in Diaspora, David Solomon, his wife, Pastor Mrs Solomon, House of Assembly candidate for Ughelli south, Oghenekevwe Temieno, the Ughelli north LGA Chairman, Hon. Tega Nikiro and his counterparts in Udu, Burutu among others.
At the end, the mega rally revealed total acceptance of Gbagi, SDP by the people of Ughelli North as the throw in their support in totality to the liberation plan and the incoming Governor went further to appreciate the mammoth crowd for the heavy turnout for the rally and encouraged them to vote right this time for better Delta state to emerge.
