The Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists (AMLS), Lagos Branch, on Friday paid a courtesy visit to the Ministry of Establishments and Training. The Association, which was led by its President, (Mrs.) Owodunni Munirat was received by the management of the Ministry.
Welcoming the executives of the AMLS to the Ministry, the Permanent Secretary, Mrs. Olubusola Abidakun expressed her appreciation to the association for the visit. She said Medical Laboratory Scientists represent one of the critical personnel in the health value chain.
Whilst congratulating the new executives of the association, Mrs. Abidakun assured them of the ministry’s cooperation, stating that the ministry would look into their requests and make necessary recommendations to the appropriate quarters.
Earlier, the President of the association, AMLS (Mrs.) Owodunni Munirat congratulated the Permanent Secretary on her deployment to the ministry and appreciated her for the warm welcome accorded the association.
While introducing the new executive members of the association, she highlighted some issues that affect their members and urged the Permanent Secretary to assist in addressing them.
