The Delta state gubernatorial candidate of Social Democratic Party SDP, Olorogun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi and his amiable wife, Mrs. Sybil Gbagi JCA in the company of the Deputy Governor, Mrs. Rosemary Oshilim attended the 2023 Ethiope Delta Baptist Conference tagged; Nine Lessons & Carols.
This event anchored the Comfrrence president, Revd. Dr. J. O. Ihwighwu took place at Macedonia Baptist Church Amukpe, Sapele in Delta state today been Sunday 27th November, 2022.
The conference has its chairman of the occasion as Hon. Chief Eugene Inoaghan, Chairman Sapele L.G.A, also was the guest speaker, Snr. Apostle Dr. Sylvanus A. Okorote, Special Adviser on Religious matters & Chairman, CAN, Delta state.
In attendance are many dignitaries and Bishops, Pastors to mention but few are; Rev. Jesu Ovie, Bishop Aravwarien and the special guest of honour as the Executive Governor of Delta state, His Excellency Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa who was the Royal Father of the day who was represented.
And the 9 lessons was also delivered accordingly by each dignitaries assigned; 1st last lesson (The Peril Gen. 3:1-13) delivered by Dr. Fred O. Okotie, 2nd Lesson (The Provision Gen 3:17) by Hon. Austin Arieja; 3rd lesson (The Promise Isaiah 9:2-7) by Hon. Christian Ologba; 4th lesson The Place (Micah 5:2-4) by Olorogun Barr Kenneth Gbagi OON; (5th lesson (The Pronouncement Lk 1:26) by Mr. Jonathan Omoregbe; 6th lesson (The Production Lk 2:1-7) by Mr. Harrison Darlington; 7th lesson (The Pastoral Lk 2:8-16) by Hon. Ben Igbakpa; 8th lesson (The Philosophical Matt. 2:1-12) by Mr. Tega Emunemu; 9th lesson (The Personification John 1:1-14) by His Excellency, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa who is represented by one of his core aids in charge of Religious matters in Delta state.
To this end, many described the conference as a very glorious and fruitful one as it attracted many dignitaries and men of timber and calibre with character like Olorogun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi OON who in his magnomity, above others delivered joyful message of financial support the Carol and for the growth of the Macedonia Baptist Church In Amukpe, Sapele, Delta state.
