Ahead of the 2023 gubernatorial election, the Delta state Governorship aspirant of Social Democratic Party (SDP), Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi, OON has inaugurated a 40man campaign council with Prof Jiff Mokobia as Director General (DG).
As the time has finally come for the race to liberate Delta, come 2023 from arrested development of the past and current regime which has infested plague of backwardness on the oil producing state, Delta as the oldest party which has produced the first ever governor in the person of Olorogun Felix Ibru is set to reclaim the street and turn around the poor situation of the people of Delta by allowing history to repeat itself with the birth of a detrabalised industrialist with unique character, Gbagi whose mission and vision declares pure deliverance and liberation of the entire Delta state for the best.
The Governorship Campaign Council of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Delta has been inaugurated and the season Professor Chief Mokobia conferred as the Direction General during the inauguration of the Governorship Campaign Director General.
And Deltans trooped out in their numbers in Warri to witness the event as Social Democratic Party (SDP) inaugurate the campaign team to join hands with the candidature of the single candidate, Olorogun (Barr) Kenneth Gbagi OON to Liberate Delta state.
The occasion had a special grip on the event that the youths and okada riders showed their excitement in support of that one man they believd will give them a fresh start and relief from the grief of the usual bad governance even as he transforms their fortunes to his part with a campaign was about to kick off.
In attendance was also the presence of the top personnels of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) who graced the occasion to mention but few are; the governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) of Nassarawa state, Alh. A.M. Mustache and SDP South-South National Chairman, Elder Fred Owotorofa and others.
The highlight was the moment was was anchored by Alh. Mustapha and Elder Owotorofa who commissioned the Governorship Campaign Council and send them forth to liberate Delta state, come 2023.
Alh. Mustapha In his speech expressed, “You are a scholar of many parts and you have been so known, been carefully vetted and Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi believes you are the man that the cap of DG Campaign Council truely fit.
“Lead the campaign, work closely with Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi, work closely with the campaign Council and deliver victory to the glory of God, congratulations!
” The authority you have is also to share this gospel body, Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi campaign for Governor of Delta state 2023. Again Congratulations!
In responds upon this inauguration, Professor Jiff Mokobia also expressed in his statement, “The challenge to liberate Delta is one that he relishes and will work assiduously to deliver the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Delta State.
“To whom much is given, much is expected. Gbagi knows why he fingered me out and I want to say earnestly, I don’t accept something I cannot do and I want to say I like challenges.
“Let me tell you people, we have a gift and that gift is Olorogun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi OON. As a professor, I research each time his name is mentioned, it is like magic, people are scared of him, people are afraid of the truth, people are afraid of his honesty, people are afraid of justice.
“We have a candidate, who is very sellable because he is a forthright man, an entrepreneur, financial disciplinarian and let me tell you, politicians generally are not financially discipline but people are just scared but Delta state knows that this is the time to be liberated and we are coming with a man who has financial discipline, character, who knows what it is as he became a millionaire not through politics like every other person who is vying for the governorship position presently.
“In his twenties, he became a millionaire, built Robinson plaza, you know how many youths are there presently so if you as a youth fails to vote for Gbagi then you are not a youth.
“We have a candidate who is very sellable and like I said we are going to hit the ground running.
“I have accepted this appointment from the North to the central and we are going there because we are going to tell the truth and God will be on our side.
At the end, Mokobia concluded, “I congratulate all of you that have been inaugurated we are ready to work with you, Congratulations to all of you”.
