The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education, Mrs. Abisola Dokunmu-Adegbite has called on Parents, Students, and Guardians whose wards or candidates participated in the Model Colleges CBT Examinations Screening Test to disregard any publication trending in social media lately that cut off marks required for any of the Lagos State Model Colleges/Upgraded Schools have been released.
She described the publication as fictitious and fraudulent for insinuating that candidates who scored the required cut-off marks of 50% at any of the State’s Model Colleges/Upgraded Junior Secondary Schools will be offered merit admission upon decision by the Examinations Board.

Dokunmu-Adegbite said, “The purported publication and the content are fake, fraudulent and did not emanate from the State Government or any of its Agencies”.
The Permanent Secretary, therefore, advised those seeking admission into the State’s Model Colleges/Upgraded Schools to watch out for Official Announcements from appropriate quarters of the State Government.
She warned Parents, Students and Guardians to be wary of fraudsters and impostors, as Lagos State does not engage in clandestine admission processes into the aforementioned or any of its Schools.
