The Ministry of Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation has become a veritable tool of Social Inclusion for 31 residents of Somolu Local Government Area, through use of NG – CARES , Livelihood Support Programme of DLi 1:3 , to boost their failing businesses .
Upon completion of financial literacy training organized by MWAPA, the recipients received operational grants between N80,000 – N150,000 to enhance their businesses, which are being affected by the crippling economic downturn .
All the beneficiaries of this Intervention Programme, were sourced from the Lagos State Social Register domicile in the Ministry of Economic Planning and Budget.
