The registration exercise is scheduled to take place from Monday, 26th January to Thursday, 30th April, 2026.

This was communicated in a circular signed by the Registrar of the Lagos State Examinations Board, Mr. Orunsolu Adebayo, notifying parents and guardians, head teachers, as well as proprietors and proprietresses of Primary Six pupils transiting into Junior Secondary School (JSS).

According to the Registrar, eligibility for participation is limited to Primary Six pupils in public primary schools and approved private primary schools in the State.

Public primary schools are required to download the Offline Data Capturing Application from examsboard.lagosstate.gov.ng for registration purposes, while approved private primary schools are to access the Board’s portal via pay.examboard.com.ng to complete payment and registration.

Mr. Orunsolu further explained that registration for pupils in public primary schools is free, while pupils in approved private primary schools are required to pay a fee of ₦5,000.00 (Five Thousand Naira Only) per candidate through the Lagos State Central Billing System (CBS).

He also stressed the compulsory use of the newly issued School Code for the registration process, noting that it is a mandatory requirement for all participating schools.

The Registrar urged the management of public and approved private primary schools to comply strictly with the stipulated timeline and ensure that parents and guardians are properly informed.

Mr. Orunsolu assured all stakeholders that adequate measures have been put in place to guarantee a seamless, efficient, and hitch-free registration process, affirming the Board’s commitment to ensuring that no eligible child is left out.
