Meru, March 17th, 2025 – Kenya Cane delivered an electrifying celebration of music, culture, and togetherness at the True Kenyan Fest Meru Edition, held at Terah’s Club, Makutano, this past weekend. The event brought the vibrant central Kenya culture to life, immersing attendees in an unforgettable night of exhilarating performances, traditional experiences, and a true showcase of the Kenyan spirit.
The festival drew an enthusiastic crowd of Kenya Cane fans, who embraced the essence of celebration with high energy entertainment, cultural pride, and the spirit of unity. From the moment the gates opened at 2 PM, revellers were treated to an immersive experience that blended modern entertainment with Meru traditions.
The event’s highlight was the star-studded lineup of Kenyan musical acts, featuring sensational performances from C.O.G Stars Band, Meru’s own rising star Kamanu, Kikuyu afro-pop sensation Wanjine, Queen of Kikuyu Benga Joyce Wa Mama, and Meru’s finest hitmaker Nassizu Murume. The crowd erupted in excitement as each artist delivered electrifying sets, showcasing a blend of contemporary and traditional sounds that resonated with the audience.
Keeping the energy high throughout the night were MC Nadia Mukiri and MC Eddu B, who engaged the crowd with their dynamic hosting, while DJ Abdalla, DJ Slim Mzuka, and DJ Super Gibz kept the party going with seamless mixes that had everyone on their feet.
Beyond the music, the True Kenyan Fest immersed attendees in Meru’s rich cultural heritage through interactive experiences which perfectly blended well with Kenya Cane’s smooth taste.
