KENNETH GBAGI ALREADY SWORN IN, PROMISED TO ESTABLISH MINISTRY OF RELIGIOUS AFFAIRS

If prayers of man and Clergies were to be answered instantly, Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi, (OON) would have been sworn in since the 21st October, 2022.

The apex religious body, Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Asaba, under the leadership of Apostle Sylvanus Okorote had gathered on the faithful day of 22nd October, 2022 to have their usual interaction Sessions with all the Governorship candidates of Delta State and to offer prayers/endorsement for a fruitful and fulfilling journey into the future of the state, but to their utmost surprise and dismay, only Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi honoured their invitation, in the presence of the mammoth crowd, crystalising the cream of the Clergies from all facets of the Christendom adorned with their religious robes.

The Statement from CAN reads:

“As part of oversights, the Delta State Chapter of the body, CAN invited all Governorship candidates across political parties to attend an interactive session. The candidates by their conduct rejected CAN and ignored them. However, the candidate of the Social Democratic Party SDP, Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi, OON attended the meeting. The letter which was dated 17th October 2022 from the political strategy and Mobilization Committee of CAN have in its subject matter as; “Reminder on Interactive Session with Governorship candidates of Political parties on 21st and 22nd October 2022”.

The men of God and other top followers had waited for hours almost frustrated and exhausted when suddenly Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) and his cream of entourage arrived the venue, including his running mate (deputy) Chief Mrs. Oshilim Ishioma Rosemary.

The whole environment became agog with traditional dancers and onlookers, waving frantically and pouring cheers at them, thereby increasing the already over-crowded area and the hilarious suburb environment. Shouts of joy, reassurance and confidence rented the air. Songs of all beautiful kinds were flying like singing birds in the air, perching and gyrating with great ovation and long standing applauses.

Prayers were dropping like rain seeds overtly and later subsided, but no sooner the momentum was resumed with louder voices, asking God to install Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi instantly.

During a speech from the body, they lamented that “CAN owes Deltans a responsibility and care of trust to act according to God’s direction by telling the churches how only Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi honoured and respected the body of Christ”.

During the Question and Answer Session (Q &A ) in the interactive assembly, Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi maintained confidence and managed a smile throughout the session, even when seemingly inappropriate questions were put across. He demonstrated humility, calmness, and very high business entrepreneurial skills with his unquenchable desire to develop the whole of Delta state, irrespective of tribes and creeds, young or old which further convinced everyone and gave him a glamorous thunderous applause, causing the prayer session to resume again like rain gathering in a thick cloud and now dropping violently. It took several appeals of the Leader for the whole flock to bring down the prayers because of inadequacy of time.

While the Session was assuming the atmosphere of unblemished acceptance, Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi promised to establish a Ministry of Religious Affairs. According to him “I have said, I will establish the Ministry of Religious Affairs. I will do that on the day of my swearing in. I will deliver on my promises because it is the time that has been made by God” and that “the Church and the traditional rulers that I am going to devolve power to, must be ready to work because what I have is how to liberate the state”

The Christian Association of Nigeria, in its further speech says: “CAN should and will continue to repudiate corrupt individuals whose disposition could not put them on the same page with the Body of Christ. It was left for the body to come clean and public with Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi who has honoured God and the body of Christ. The body of Christ cannot afford to lower its integrity, trust and power to pray for and endorse a Governorship candidate who upholds integrity and sense of purpose”.

Shockingly, the statement concluded that “The former Governor of Delta State, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan became the Governor of the State after CAN endorsed him. Governor Okowa enjoyed similar prayers, endorsement and emerged as the current seating two-term Governor”.

“For 2023, Ggbagi has emerged as the chosen candidate who honoured God and the body of Christ and CAN has done the needful for God to answer their prayers”.

The political implication of this event is incredibly fascinating, as the political landscape of Delta state is witnessing a new turn. Larger number of people are becoming more and more aware of the need to shun mediocrity and opt for the most credible and suitable candidate to rule the State. Voting by the people at this time is no longer going to be based on a particular Political Party, but the individual. In this case, the whole population is beginning to recognise the capability and acceptability of Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi as a unifier.

His business dynamism and ability to ascertain various areas to grow the economy of Delta State in each local government area particularly is rather unprecedented, as no one single Governor in the past and present has been able to come up with these ideas that are highly impeccable. With these ideas and strategies, the future of Delta state is undeniably succulent as all areas of the state will be put to viable economic activity. The tenacity to recover from the slums of poverty and borrowing will be transparent and strong. Recovery from gross economic disadvantages is guaranteed. Security and threat to life in Delta State will be so reduced, as everyone will be put to labour where hunger shall disappear in a flash.

These were parts of the qualities that influenced the current President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (Muhamadu Buhari) to honour him with the prestigious award of the Officer of the Order of the Niger just last two weeks 11th October, 2022 at Abuja along with others. Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi is now identified by all as the only solution to the Delta State economy that is fast falling into a pit of hungry crocodiles.
