JUST IN: Lagos State Gov. Sanwo-Olu Sympathises With Victims Of Train Crash

Lagos Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has sympathised with victims of the train crash that occurred on Thursday morning.

It was gathered that, the crash took away lives of two women who were confirmed dead and left several others injured after the collision with the Lagos State Government staff Bus Rapid Transport (BRT) blue line on its way from Ikotun enroute Alausa, the State Secretariat, at the PWD area.

“The vehicle was conveying staff of the Lagos State Government, our staff who serve the state in different capacities.

In a statement Sanwo-Olu expressed, “A big thank you to well-meaning Lagosians who immediately joined in rescue efforts.

“Our first responders and emergency services are on the ground and we will share more information shortly.”
