It was gathered that, a Nigerian governor’s convoy got involved in a road accident as they were going to the polling unit for the election and at least three people were confirmed dead in the road accident involving Katsina Governor Aminu Bello Masari’s convoy.
This accident occured on their way to Karfur for the Governorship/Assembly elections on Saturday.
According to the reports reaching us, the accident happened on Friday night near the village of Jimkamshi, while the Governor and his entourage were on their way to Kafur.
A Police officers in the convoy identified as Kabir Adamu, Nura Safiyanu, and Ahmady Ali were among those that lost their lives in this unfortunate accident while others suffered various injuries and are receiving treatment in a hospital.
