Finally, Governor Ahmadu Fintiri has finally received what is due to him as he escaped all hurdles and emerged the winner of the mumbo-jumbo supplementary election in Adamawa State.
Following the Saturday rerun, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Fintiri benched others with a total vote of 9,337 while the closest contender from All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Aishatu ‘Binani’ Dahiru of grabbed 6,513 votes.

At the end of the entire exercise ended in praise for Fintiri who polled a total of 430,861 votes, benching Binani with 398,788 votes.
This was announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) at exactly 5:49 pm on Tuesday though preceded by a series of political intrigues.
With last month’s governorship election declared inconclusive by INEC, a supplementary election was scheduled for last Saturday.
Bravo to Fintiri!
