The Founder of First City Monument Bank (FCMB), Subomi Balogun, has been reportedly dead.
Otunba Balogun was said to have died in London on Friday morning at the age of 89 years after a brief illness.
This was disclosed by a direct descendant of Oba Tunwase of Ijebu-Ode, Otunba Balogun until his death held the chieftaincy titles Otunba Tunwase of Ijebuland, Olori Omoba of Ijebuland and the Asiwaju of Ijebu Christians.
Ptunba Balogun is known to be a philanthropist, businessman to the core who also built the National Pediatric Centre in Ijebu-Ode that was donated to University of Ibadan’s, University College Teaching Hospital.
