Former President Goodluck Jonathan on has expressed sadness over the demise of ex-Acting Governor Nestor Binabo, who died in an Abuja hospital.
GEJ expressed his heartfelt sympathy in his condolence message disclosed to the public through his media adviser Ikechukwu Eze, condoled his family and the Bayelsa government.
Hear him, “I condole with the Binabo family and the government and people of Bayelsa state on the death of Nestor Binabo, former acting governor of the state. Binabo was an accomplished politician, an experienced lawmaker and a service-oriented leader who made (a) significant impact during his active time in politics,” the ex-president stated.
“He will be sorely missed by people from all walks of life, especially for his patriotism and service to humanity,” Mr Jonathan said.
He described Binabo as a patriotic Bayelsan who contributed immensely to the growth and development of the state while praying for God to comfort the decease’s family the heart to bear the loss.
