
The Federal Government has finalized arrangements to evacuate Nigerian nationals from the Islamic Republic of Iran, with the support of the Government of the Republic of Armenia.
A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirms that the Charge d’ Affaires of the Embassy of Nigeria in Iran, Abdulrasheed Lawal, and Levon Petrosyan, the Acting Director Middle East and Africa Division, are those heading in the Nigerian Embassy in Iran who initiated the request for safe passage of Nigerians stranded in Iran.
