As part of the activities marking the Year 2024 Isese Day celebration in Lagos State, Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu has declared Tuesday, August 20, as a Work-Free day for all Public Servants in the State.
A statement signed by the Lagos State Head of Service, Mr. Bode Agoro, said the Work-Free Day for the Public Servants is part of the present administration’s commitment to give necessary support to traditional institutions, as well as enhance the promotion of indigenous tradition by preserving cultural heritage.
Following this development, work is to resume in all public offices including courts, across the State on Wednesday, 21st August, 2024.
