The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has flagged off a major voter mobilization campaign aimed at increasing public participation in the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise in Gombe State
The campaign began with a briefing by the Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC), who praised the campaign team and the public for the positive impact recorded so far.

This initiative is designed to encourage all eligible citizens, particularly the youth, to register for their Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC), update their details, or collect their cards ahead of the next general elections.

To draw public attention, a voter sensitization road walk commenced from the INEC office, proceeding to the main roundabout in Gombe metropolis. The event attracted significant attention from residents and passersby, with campaign materials and messages encouraging participation.
The road walk is scheduled to extend to key public areas, including markets, schools, worship centers, and other busy locations across the state.
INEC officials are calling on all citizens to seize this opportunity to register and play an active role in the democratic process.
