A development advocate, under the umbrella of the New Delta initiative, NDI, Comrade Ezekiel Kagbala has urged President Muhammadu Buhari to actively address the current economic crises rocking the country.
The advocate who spoke in Asaba, Delta State noted that It is no secret that Nigerians are experiencing severe economic crisis. He insisted that the Federal government should not act as though the situation of the country has drifted out of control.
Kagbala called on Buhari to act now as the increasing price of goods and services is biting harder on Nigerians.
“Under the leadership of President Buhari, cost of living for Nigerians has increased in every aspect of daily lives, Government agencies even the president seems not to cares about instituting measures toward regulating the exponential increase of food prices In the face of the economic hardship”,
“The price of cooking gas has jumped up so much that Nigerians groan in excruciating pains and depression”
“The poor economic and security approach of Buhari and his impotent economic team has failed woefully”
The Nigerian Federal Government should think deeply about protecting the social-economic rights of the citizenry.
