Inciting Comments Are Part Of Insecurity – Femi Adesina

Special Adviser to President Buhari on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, has said that making inciting comments can be categorized as part of insecurity.

In a post shared on his Facebook page, Adesina averred that some Nigerians want others to believe that the ‘worsening insecurity’ is the only thing happening in the country as they never talk about the second Niger Bridge. Loko-Oweto Bridge, Bodo-Bonny road, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Airports, Rail revolution, Fertilizer availability, Rice and maize pyramids, food security and many other achievements of this government.

He stated that these people, preachers included, are so angry with President Buhari, that they are angry he has achieved many things in this administration and are making inflammatory comments so as to gain power through the back door. He pointed that even as a preacher, either Christian or Muslim, God has not ceded that authority to anyone to cast judgment as he sits in Heaven, and makes the earth His footstool.

He added that the uncouth language is the stock-in-trade of some preachers today as their words are no longer seasoned with grace.
