The Leading çandidate for All progressive Congress APC for Etsako East chairmanship election Hon Sunday Ekpetika takes his ward to ward campaigns of restoration to Okpekpe yesterday.
The Chairman of the campaign organisation Hon Peter Okponokhe welcomes APC faithfuls to his ancestral homeland and asked them to be law bidding.He More so informed the mammoth crowd to vote overwhelming for the candidacy of Hon Sunday Ekpetika/Comrade Charles Dangana for the forthcoming coming Local Government Council poll slated for September 2nd Saturday 2023
In his address,the incoming Vice chairman of Etsako East Comrade Charles Dangana who happens to be an indigene of Okpekpe told his people that APC is associated with developments strides and intimated them to vote for the APC candidacy of him and the Chairman Hon Sunday Ekpetika.He how ever said that he will complement the projects brought to Okpekpe by Conrade Adams Oshiomhole and Engr Abubakar Momoh.
In the same vain,the incoming chairman of Etsako East Local Government Hon Sunday Ekpetika discloses to the gathering that if elected that he will award scholarships to indigent students of Etsako East who are intelligent to study medical courses in overseas.He said the students will enjoy full scholarship from the Local Government account.He also reiterated that the students of Etsako East should be studious in living up to their responsibility of projecting the image of the Local Government to the outside world.
Again,the incoming Etsako East Local Government Chairman Hon Sunday Ekpetika made it also known to the people of Okpekpe that he will build skill acquisition centres in the three zones that make up Etsako East Okpella,Ibie and Okpella for the training of youths and subsequently empowered them to serve as means of their livelihood.He told the youths in the council to be disciplined, determined,focus,hardworking and have respect to the constituted authority.
Hon Sunday Ekpetika opined that if voted into power that he will set aside oodles of money for the payment of monthly stipends to the aging ones in the Local Government.This he said will serve as moral booster for the aging ones in the contribution of their quota towards the growth and development of Etsako East as a whole.
In another development,Hon Sunday Ekpetika pledges to partner with the traditional rulers in the Local Government Area to fight crimes to its fullness.He maintains that the measures will help to contribute to the. astronomical growth and development of businesses of the. Inhabitants of Etsako East.He there fore mandate the good people of Etsako East to vote massively for him and his vice comrade Charles Dangana in the coming Etsako East Local Government elections coming up in 2nd September Saturday 2023.He more so told the people of Etsako East to protect their votes as well from the units to wards’ levels.
