…the people of Ogwashi-Uku endorses Gbagi for better development.
Ahead of the coming election on Saturday 11th March, 2023, the governorship candidate of Social Democratic Party (SDP) in the company of the Deputy Governor, Chief Mrs. Rosemary Isioma Oshilim, his amiable wife, Justice Sybil Gbagi JCA, the Campaign Council Director General, Prof. Mokobia, the Deuty DG, Prof Atubi, the SDP top officials National, Elder Fred Owotorofa, SDP candidates, campaign train and other SDP faithfuls has storm the Ogwashi-Uku kingdom of Delta state with his liberation message inorder to ensure that, the faith of survival of state does not continue hanging in the hands of the enemies of Delta state.
This journey took place on Friday 3rd February, 2023 in Ogwashi-Uku kingdom in Aniocha South Local government area of Delta State.
His Excellency in making took his campaigning to the palace of His Royal Majesty (HRM), Obi Ifechukwude Okonjo II, by the Palace Secretary, Prince Jude Emordi who with assurance made it clear to the people of Ogwashi-Uku that with Gbagi, Delta will finally experience true leadership and total liberation from the arrested development of the ruling party.
The industralist in his style, delivered his Liberation Messages which has a total package for the state and citizens progress assuring them of massive development, employment, security, he said, “PDP in Delta is gone, all I promise I will do.
“I will Pay N30,000 to remove the youths from the street
“I will give free education to all youths from primary to university level
“Let us liberate our state from the comatose stage, the ruling party (PDP) has put our state”.
However, the people of Ogwashi-Uku in their unique style, welcomed the incoming Governor, Gbagi in grand style as culture were observed while different colourful dances were also displayed just to entertain the Governor in waiting, Olorogun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi OON even the breaking of kolanuts took a different dimension as there was a significant sign of six cotyledons (parts) from the breaking of the kola which indicates prosperity and that indicates, the destiny child has arrived the palace for the good of the people of Delta state.
Even the Kola nut received special prayers which was rendered by the wife of the SDP gubernatorial candidate, Justice Sybil Gbagi, JCA, whom the palace already addressed as incoming First Lady. By implication, it means that the former minister of state for education, would be the next governor of the state to succeed Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa.
Prince Emordi after listening to the SDP liberation message, assures the people of Ogwashi-Uku that Gbagi-led administration will be a win-win administration which will wipe away all the shame and backwardness brought upon the state by the ruling government since 1999.
He said, “Gbagi, created 13 Universities including FUPRE, he has brought succour to many lives during the flood. Even the in this palace, I am a living witness to that.
“Our Olizeles and the Obi’s kinsmen can also attest to what I am trying to put before all of us.
“He is a workaholic governor in the waiting. On behalf of His Majesty, it shall be well with you, the Lord will continue to strengthen you.
“The Lord will give you this seat in Delta State, so that you will move Delta State to an enviable height. People will be amazed to see your wonderful works which you have in the pipeline for the people of Delta State.
“There is no doubt that you cherish education, that was why during your tenure as minister for State, education, you brought university to Effurun and others spread across the federation.
“It is a good thing and it is a legacy that we shall bequeath to our children and to our teeming youths so that they will be able to differentiate between their right hand and their keft hand.
“So, we wish you luck sir, and pray that God will catapult you to that position in Delta State. Whatever is your heart desire, the Almighty God will grant it to you”, he added.
He concluded that, God is not an author of confusion and is interested in the leadership of his people, therefore will perfect it all at the end, powerful prayers of Royalty and victory was rendered on Gbagi and his entourage by Chief Edwin Esemezie who declares God’s favour on the Social Democratic Party (SDP ) candidate to go forth and bring back the crown as the next Governor of Delta state.
