GOVERNOR SOLUDO HONOURS LATE PA PATRICK OBIDIKE AT FUNERAL MASS IN AKWEZE AS HE IS LAID TO REST

Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, CFR, joined family, friends, and dignitaries at St. Gregory’s Catholic Church in Akwaeze to pay his final respects to Late Pa Patrick Obidike.
The deceased was the father of the state’s current Commissioner for Health, Dr. Afam Obidike.
During the solemn Burial Mass, Governor Soludo offered words of comfort to the bereaved family while taking a moment to highlight the professional excellence of Dr. Afam Obidike who is a key member of his cabinet
The Governor noted that the character and dedication seen in the Commissioner’s work are a testament to the upbringing provided by his late father.
Governor Soludo remarked that Pa Patrick Obidike lived a fulfilled life, leaving behind a legacy of service through his children.
The service was attended by various government officials and community leaders who came out in a show of solidarity with the Health Commissioner.
The atmosphere at St. Gregory’s was one of reflection and gratitude for a life well-lived as Dr. Obidike appreciated friends and family for identifying with them in a moment of grief.
The ceremony concluded with the interment of Pa Patrick Obidike, as the Akwaeze community bid farewell to a respected patriarch.
