Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, CON has today Sunday approved the constitution of the board of the Gombe Geographic Information Systems ( GOGIS), and appointed Professor James B. Kaltho as Chairman.
Secretary to the State Government, Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi who conveyed the Governor’s approval, announced the following as members: Surv. Zakari Abubakar Difa, Ado Gabanni, Philomina Jabuwa, Maikano Abdullahi (Hakimin Doma), Permanent Secretaries of the Ministries of Justice, Environment, Finance and Local Governments.
Other board members are: Director Lands, Gombe State Surveyor- General and Director-General GOGIS, Dr. Kabiru Usman Hassan, while the Legal Adviser of the Agency will serve as Secretary.
All the appointments are with immediate effect.
