Gov. Seyi Makinde Gives Update on the Construction of Dr Omololu Olunloyo Park, Ibadan
The executive Governor of Oyo state, Seyi Makinde has today Friday updated with pictures of the construction of Dr Omololu Olunloyo Park, located at the beginning of the 3.2 km Dr Omololu Olunloyo Airport Road, Ibadan.
The project for the construction of Dr Omololu Olunloyo Park which was flagged off on March 3, 2023 by the then Governor of Rivers State, His Excellency Nyesom Wike, after he commissioned the 3.2 km Ibadan Airport Road dualisation and rehabilitation of adjoining roads; and the 500,000 litres aviation fuel storage and dispensing facility installed by the Oyo State Government at the Ibadan Airport.
The Dr Omololu Olunloyo Park project is a part of the Oyo State Government’s plan to expand the economy and develop the area around the Ibadan Airport into an aerotropolis.
The Dr Omololu Olunloyo Park will include gardens, visual architectural and cultural pieces, a viewing gallery, car parking and toilet facilities.
The car parking facility will serve transport services to and from the Ibadan Airport.
