GOV. SANWO-OLU HONOURED WITH NEW TELEGRAPH’S GOVERNOR OF YEAR PROJECT AWARD

Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu has been honoured with the New Telegraph’s prestigious 2024 Governor of the Year Award for Projects.

The award was presented to him on Friday night at a grand dinner held at the Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, amidst an array of very eminent personalities across the Federation.

The Secretary to the Lagos State Government, Barr. ‘Bimbola Salu-Hundeyin, received the award on behalf of Governor Sanwo-Olu, accompanied by the Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr. Gbenga Omotoso, the Special Adviser on Health, Mrs. Kemi Ogunyemi and other top officials of the Lagos State Government.

The award was presented by the Chairman and Publisher of New Telegraph, His Excellency, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu, alongside the Chairman of the Day, Chief Olabode George.

The recognition highlighted Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s commitment to transformative projects across all pillars of his administration’s THEMES Plus Developmental Agenda.

Other recipients included the Governors of Ekiti, Osun, and Kano, as well as distinguished individuals and corporate organisations recognised for excellence in their respective fields.
