It is well known to all and sundry that His Excellency, Sen Prince Bassey Otu, was duly elected through the struggle and the sacrifices of the masses; especially the youths.

It is heartbreaking to the masses (especially those who labored for the emerging of this new administration) when they are denied the right to reap the fruits of their labour.

This is as a result of the way political appointments are given without total inclusion of the major stakeholders who stood under both sun and rain to ensure that our great party made it through.

Many served during the reign of power during their Excellency’s, Ebiri, Donald, Imoke and Ayade’s Government and still want to serve in the present Government of His Excellency, Sen Prince Bassey Otu.

I wish to humbly advise the present Government of Sen Prince Bassey Otu to focus more on who made the Government rather than what made the Government.

His Excellency, Sen Prince Bassey Otu, was greatly helped by God and the masses. His Excellency did not win the election process through god-fatherism or connection.

It’s time we speak for the voiceless masses, act for the disabled and be a sight for the blind. Cross River State must stand.
