The stone evil people threw at me during the time I was campaigning for Sen Prince Bassey Otu, I used it to build a mansion that produced Sen Prince Bassey Otu as the governor of Cross River State.
I vividly remembered how I was mocked and called all manner of names because I was campaigning for Sen Prince Bassey Otu. Those antagonists told me that Prince Otu will never make it to the government house. But I laughed at them and told them that I was working based on God’s instructions and not based on any personal merit.
Fast forward to today, Sen Prince Bassey Otu is the current Governor of Cross River State. A well respected statesman and a progressive. He is taking Cross River State to it’s zenith through prompt and pragmatic policies aimed at remedying all the damages done to Cross River State.
Today, a solemn assembly was organized of which I was ably present to hand over Cross River State to God almighty. For without God man can do nothing. Sen Prince Bassey Otu is a man who understands the place of God in his life and also the purpose and will of God in all he does. He is a man that fears God in all he does and hence, Cross River State is in a safe hand.
I want to beacon on the oppositions to join the agenda of this new administration towards building a great Cross River State. Election is over, hence it’s time to keep what ever malice you have aside and work to make Cross River State a better place for us all to dwell in. I strongly believe that with the solemn assembly, Cross River State will never remain the same again.
