Bayelsa State Governor, Douye Diri, has reportedly resigned from the PDP alongside 23 members of the Bayelsa State House of Assembly.
The development was made known by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Daniel Alabrah, in a Facebook post.
Although details of the move remain sketchy, sources suggest that the Governor and the lawmakers may be preparing to officially announce their defection to the APC in the coming days.
