Governor Dapo Abiodun has praised Remoland for its remarkable strides in agriculture, education, industrialization, and technology, emphasizing the importance of unity and vision in driving progress. Speaking at the inaugural Remo Day celebration in Sagamu, he highlighted Remoland’s significance as home to key projects like the Gateway International Airport and Agro-Cargo Special Processing Zone.
He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to grassroots development and pledged support for community-driven projects through Community Development Associations. He also called on private sector partners to join in advancing Ogun State’s “Building Our Future Together” agenda.
The governor noted that Remo Day celebrates the unity and cultural heritage of the people, envisioning it as a growing global tourism attraction. Traditional ruler, Oba Babatunde Ajayi, and other dignitaries echoed the need for cultural preservation and continued progress, making the event a testament to Remoland’s resilience and shared aspirations.
