With a few days to the ultimate primaries where foremost Delta state governorship aspirant, Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi is highly favoured to be handed the PDP ticket, it is no surprise that the rental blackmailers will go at any length in failed bid to run down Ggagi.
As in previous situations, Olorogun Gbagi remains unfazed by the latest of such cheap blackmails being shared by some faceless Akpovoke Otiti.
Like the rest, blackmailer Otiti has fabricated an accusation against Gbagi without citing any proof or justification. He claims that the foremost Delta industrialist seeks attention in his electioneering campaign by blackmailing other aspirants.
Clearly, there is not one instance this loafing Akpovoke Otiti cited where Gbagi raised any malicious undeserved question on the character of any co aspirant. But we understand Otiti’s case. Because Gbagi overwhelmingly towers above other contenders as the most suited to gain the PDP ticket and going ahead to be elected next governor, the cheapest campaign of calumny in bid to stop Gbagi now is to keep dropping his name with no justification.
Any aspirant or hangers on looking for cheap relevance just call Gbagi names so people can pay attention. If Gbagi were all those fabricated names the desperado opponents have called him, it would be practically impossible to have him still walking not only as a free man, but one of the most admired and independent minded Delta politician today. He is the only one that is not an appendage of any godfather.
For Gbagi, the best counter response to yet another cheap blackmail is to ignore the nonentity who fabricated it. This faceless Otiti is not the first to indulge in this paid madness. It doesn’t bother the Gbagi Campaign group if he is not even the last.
Like they say, you can’t keep doing same thing same way all the time and expect a different result. Because they are unjustified, malicious, no cheap blackmail can stop Gbagi.
It Gbagi’s time to be at the helms of Delta government. This is not just an agenda of mere mortals. It is God ordained.
