MTN Nigeria has just announced its temporary suspension of airtime and data credit advance service, “Xtratime”.
This was disclosed in a corporate notice filed with the Nigerian Exchange (NGX) on Thursday.
Notably, this MTN Xtratime service is said to be a saving grace which allows subscribers to borrow airtime or data on credit and pay back later when next recharge, one package that Nigerians enjoy during financial crises.
