FRSC Pays Courtesy Visit to ONELGA, Pledges Collaboration on Road Safety

Port Harcourt, Nigeria — The Acting Unit Commander of the Omoku Unit Command of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), I.M. Efe, has led a familiarization visit to the Executive Chairman of Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area (ONELGA), Hon. Prince Isaac Umejuru.

 

The visit aimed at fostering collaboration between the FRSC and the local government to enhance road safety and traffic management within the area.

During the meeting, Commander Efe outlined the FRSC’s ongoing efforts in maintaining road safety and emphasized the need for cooperative action between the FRSC and the local government to reduce accidents and improve road conditions.

 

He also noted that the FRSC is committed to ensuring safety through community engagement and awareness campaigns.

 

In response, Executive Chairman of ONELGA Hon. Prince Isaac Umejuru reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to supporting the FRSC in its road safety initiatives, pledging to work closely with the agency to promote safety standards within ONELGA.

 

He lauded the FRSC’s dedication to its duties and expressed optimism about the impact of strengthened partnerships on road safety and overall community well-being.

 

The ONELGA chairman emphasized that such collaborations are vital to improving public services, adding that the local government will continue to seek partnerships with relevant agencies and organizations to ensure the safety and progress of the community.
