The former Minister of education recalled that at the time of his interview, he took his time to call on the President to deploy all service chiefs, security agencies to relocate themselves to the troubled areas within the country.
He went further to express, that there is no country, if the people are not safe and happy, no country where the President uses tax payers money to protect himself, no country where security agencies and heads of security agencies uses the tax payers money to protect themselves as opposed to all of them waiting and protecting citizenry.
The security expert, Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi with grief expressed his unhappiness with the President that, an innocent gentleman the Commissioner for science, Dr. Nasir Rabe who has paid his dues was been murdered in cold blood in Kastina state for just playing honesty and with the insecurity eating deep in the country who knows who is next before the President, the security agencies of this country will sit up and do what they ought to do.
He said, “It is sad that, Nigeria has become a country where policemen are promoted irrespective of the fact that they manned up areas, states, countries and local government where most of these crimes do take place and yet they still get promoted”.
“Air force, Navy, SSS, NSCDC are all routines as we are paying for all of these security agencies and yet we are being slaughtered like chicken”.
This is considered a genocide, therefore the President should tighten up his game and do just as he promised because he is the Chief security officer of the country and the entire security apparatus reports to him and all are under his control.
Olorogun Gbagi made it clear that, Nigeria has lost a great gentleman, a great legislator, Dr. Rabe having paid his dues, his soul will continue to hunt the President and all security agencies of this country as they have refused to do their jobs.
The quest is that, if the president has anything less to offer this country must wake up though he will also put a call through to the President to correct all these anomalies.
He urges the President to wake up to his duty call for which he was voted in to protect life and property as the Chief Security officer of this country, take a sentence stage of his life and business because those who neglected security thinking they have the apparatus and gun to protect their lives when they are in office, will one day have themselves to be blame when they are no longer in office.
The painful death of this young man, great guy, a friend, a bosom friend, and a younger brother was what brought about his earlier broadcast years ago to ensure the President sits up to his promise.
