Fix Aniocha North Movement Condoles With The Peaceful People Of Idumuje-Unor, Calls for Immediate Action

The Fix Aniocha North Movement extends its heartfelt condolences to the immediate families of the deceased and the entire community of Idumuje-Unor. With heavy hearts, we mourn the loss of our promising youth who paid the ultimate price — *a tragedy that was both preventable and avoidable in the first place*
The National Leader of the Movement, Mr. Emeka Okwechime, expressed deep sorrow over the incident, emphasizing that the unfortunate loss could have been averted if those in authority had heeded the longstanding cries of Aniocha North residents for improved security measures.

Speaking through the Movement’s spokesperson, Mr. Okwechime called on those in power to rise to their responsibilities and protect the lives and properties of the very people who entrusted them with their votes and confidence.
He further urged the Traditional Rulers of the 18 villages and communities in Aniocha North to unite and take bold, decisive steps to drive out the terrorizing herdsmen. He assured them that the youth and the entire communities would fully support and implement any decisions made in this regard.
In addressing the worsening security situation, Mr. Okwechime appealed to all well-meaning sons and daughters of Aniocha North to empower, mobilize, and support all local security outfits — including village vigilante groups, the Anti-Cult unit, and the Anioma Security Network. He emphasized the need for a coordinated and well-organized joint security operation to cleanse Aniocha North of criminal threats and restore peace across the land.
Finally, Mr Okwechime used the opportunity to advice the youths and call on everyone not to take the laws into their own hands as any form of reprisal attack or attempt will escalate the issue that may lead to human and collateral losses on both ends. He prayed God to give the family the fortitude to the irreparable loss.
May the soul of the dead and all the faithful departed rest in perfect peace
