One of the giant bank, First Bank has announced the appointment of Mr. Oluseyi Oyefeso as Executive Director, Retail Banking of the South.
First bank made this announcement in a statement released on monday on the website of Nigerian Exchange.
According to the bank, Oyefeso appointment is expected to take effect from 2nd march, 2023 as its subject to Central Bank of Nigeria CBN’s approval.
Prior to this appointment, Mr. Oyefeso was known to be the Group Executive Director of Retail banking South ( Lagos and West), also serving as the Country Managing Director of FBNBank Ghana Ltd.
He however, joined First Bank since 2006 as a Branch manager and has held many key positions including Business Development Manager, Group Heads within the Retail Banking and Institutional Banking Directorates and has done very well in his jobs.
According to the Chief Executive Officer of First Bank, Dr. Adesola Adeduntan, “Oyefeso is a multi-skilled professional with robust banking experience, proven problem solving and leadership skills”.
It might interest you to note that, Oyefeso was also a seasoned banker and chattered accountant with over twenty five years of cognate management experience in banking and financial service industry, no doubt he will do excellently well in his new appointment.
