Former Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Sadiya Umar-Farouq, has arrived at the headquarters of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to address the agency’s invitation.

The invitation pertains to clarifications on certain financial matters under investigation.

In a statement by her former Special Adviser on Media, Nneka Anibeze, Umar-Farouq expressed readiness to defend her actions during her tenure as a minister.

The visit to the EFCC office in Abuja’s Jabi district on Monday was initiated by the former minister herself.
