Finally, Aviation Minister Intervenes in Airpeace – Oshiomhole Face-off, Directs Aviation Agencies to Conduct Thorough Investigation

Following the incident at the Lagos airport last wednesday 11th june 2025 involving airpeace airline and senator adams oshiomhole, the aviation and aerospace development minister Festus Keyamo confirms on his x handle that he has been in direct contact with both parties since that morning.

The minister further directed the aviation agencies to avoid jumping to conclusions and to uphold the principle of hearing all sides before reaching a judgment.

He therefore appeals to both parties to refrain from public accusations and counter-accusations.

Keyamo further directed the relevant aviation agencies to conduct a thorough investigation, gather all available evidence, and report back to him.

This he said would enable the ministry and its agencies to handle the issue in a way that will guide future conduct in similar situations.
