Ekiti State Government, in partnership with Wema Bank Plc, is set to launch a Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Growth Programme to train and empower 100,000 Ekiti residents. The initiative was spurred by our vision to transform Ekiti into a hub of thriving businesses and significantly reduce youth unemployment by lifting 100,000 Ekiti residents out of poverty.
Otunba Kayode Fasae, the state Commissioner for Wealth Creation and Employment, announced that the programme aims to fill gaps in the MSME sector, and ultimately boost the nation’s GDP by enhancing MSMEs’ business management skills, financial literacy, and market access.
