EKITI STATE GOVERNMENT LAUNCHES DATA COLLATION INITIATIVE TO ADDRESS UNEMPLOYMENT…details
Ekiti State, Nigeria – The Ekiti State Government, under the auspices of the Ministry of Wealth Creation and Employment, has announced the commencement of a comprehensive DATA COLLATION project aimed at mapping out all artisans and unemployed active citizens within the state.
This strategic initiative is set to enable the government to efficiently plan, make informed decisions, address business challenges, and devise strategic solutions to combat the prevailing issue of unemployment in the region.
The target participants for this exercise include unemployed individuals, market women and men, the organized private sector, community development leaders, artisans, those in the informal sector, persons living with disabilities, and all individuals aged between 18 and 50 years.
Scheduled to kick off on the 22nd of April, 2024, the DATA COLLATION project will continue indefinitely, with a dual registration process available to all potential beneficiaries.
Interested parties can register in person through dedicated desk officers stationed at all 16 conventional Local Government offices and 19 LCDAs, or opt for online registration via the official media platforms of the Ministry of Wealth Creation and Employment,
starting from the aforementioned date.
By actively participating in this initiative, citizens of Ekiti State can contribute to the development of effective strategies and interventions that will pave the way towards a more prosperous and inclusive economy.
