The Wife of the Ebonyi state Governor Uzoamaka Nwifuru has asked God to return the Senate Deputy Chief Whip and Senator representing Ebonyi North Senatorial District, Peter Nwebonyi for a second term in the National Assembly saying he has outperformed other Senators.
Mrs Nwifuru made the statement at the presidential lodge new Government House centenary city, Abakaliki the Ebonyi state Capital after the commissioning of the senator’s projects.
Senator Nwebonyi is the youngest senator among other Senators from the South East geopolitical zone and the Senator representing the First lady.
She queried why other National Assembly members from the state are not meeting up Nwebonyi’s chart adding that, his records have shown that the Federal government is making sure that National Assembly members get what is due to them.
“So, today I am very happy because it’s not easy for one to eat and remain and give out to people. He has shown Ebonyiians that other people who are in the National Assembly are not doing the same thing he is doing.”
“With what he is doing, we should ask questions why others are not closing the gap and this is the proof that the Federal government is doing well and the benefit of him being in the National Assembly we are ripping it here”
