The Rivers State Government begins renovation of the destroyed assembly complex, as it is no longer safe for use by the Honourable Members of the Rivers State House of Assembly.
An Alternative Sitting Complex has since been provided for members, as sitting is already ongoing under the speakership of Rt. Hon. Ehie Edison (Speaker 10th Assembly).
