Delta State: SDP Set To Inaugurate New Caretaker Committee Members On May 6

The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) has concluded plans to commission members of the Delta State Caretaker Committee to pilot the affairs of the party in the State.

 

The National Vice Chairman, South-south zone, Elder Fred Owotorufa, disclosed this in a statement issued on Friday May 5th 2023.

He said the Committee was expected to be guided strictly by the SDP Constitution 2022.

The inauguration of members of the committee would hold on Saturday May 6th 2023 at the Delta Central Senatorial party Secretariat, along Warri/Sapele road.

 

The party said it is expected that members of the Committee would display exemplary conduct and strict adherence to the party’s constitution during the tenure of the Committee of 90 (ninety) days from the date it was announced or as the NWC may determine.

 

The chairman and Committee members are expected to familiarize themselves with the Party’s Constitution and policies of the Social Democratic Party.

 

The members of the Caretaker Committee to be inaugurated are Chief Mrs Esther Ikule (State Chairman), Tony Emeronanjo Onyisi (Vice Chairman North), Solomon Pere Daubri (Vice Chairman South), Mike Dugbo (Vice Chairman Central), Enebraye Hanson Kembigha (State Secretary), Oghenekaro Blessing Ighoboja (State Organizing Secretary).

 

Others are: Clement Oghoje (State Youth Leader), Mrs. Gbanakumo Eseimokumoh (State Woman Speaker), Chief Gabriel Ibede (State Treasurer), Barr. Afeogba Peter Goodyear (State Legal Adviser), Mrs. Timi Edema Elo (State Welfare Secretary) and Matthew Ogisi (State Labour & Civil Society Secretary).
