LETTER OF RESIGNATION

Delta State.

Dear Comrades,

I write this letter today with a heavy heart but a clear conscience.

After deep reflection, consultations with my supporters, and sincere consideration of the political realities confronting our people, I hereby formally resign my membership from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Delta State, effective immediately.

I joined the PDP with hope, hope that the party would remain a true platform for justice, equity, youth inclusion, and people-oriented governance. As an activist and grassroots mobilizer popularly known as Wong Box Nigeria, my loyalty has always been to the people, not to comfort, not to silence, and not to political convenience.

Unfortunately, over time, I have observed with concern a widening gap between the party’s founding ideals and its present-day practices. The voices of the masses, especially the youths and grassroots comrades who risk everything for the struggle, are increasingly ignored. Internal democracy has been weakened, genuine dissent is discouraged, and the aspirations of ordinary people are often sacrificed on the altar of elite interests.

I cannot, in good conscience, continue to belong to a system that no longer aligns with my principles, my ACTIVISM, and my unwavering COMMITMENT to SOCIAL JUSTICE and ACCOUNTABILITY.

Let it be clearly stated:

This decision is not born out of bitterness, but out of conviction.

It is not an act of BETRAYAL, but an act of TRUTH.

It is not the end of my STRUGGLE, but the BEGINNING OF a NEW CHAPTER.

I remain firmly committed to the LIBERATION of OUR PEOPLE, to SPEAKING TRUTH to POWER, and to STANDING with the OPPRESSED, regardless of political platforms. My loyalty will always be to the streets, to the grassroots, and to the Nigerian people.

To my comrades within and outside the PDP: the struggle continues. NO PARTY owns our CONSCIENCE. No STRUCTURE is BIGGER than the PEOPLE. History will always REMEMBER those WHO CHOSE COURAGE over COMFORT.

I sincerely appreciate those I worked with during my time in the party and wish the PDP well in its future endeavours.

As I take this step, I AM WAITING FOR FURTHER INSTRUCTION FROM ABOVE. GUIDED by CONSCIENCE, DESTINY, and the COLLECTIVE WILL of the PEOPLE.
