A veteran journalist in Delta State, Comrade Ezekiel Kagbala has been appointed and inaugurated as Public Relation Officer (PRO) of Ogbolubiri-Mein Kingdom in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State.
Ezekiel Kagbala who is a member of the Nigerian Union of Journalists and PRO of Ijaw Publishers Forum was inaugurated at the palace of the Kingdom in Agbodobiri community yesterday, May 10, 2024, after the chairman, Mr. Tom Eyuruere was inaugurated by the King and some older men of the kingdom.
The appointment came after a favorable recommendation was made by leaders of Agbodobiri, headquarters of Ogbolubiri-Mein Kingdom, led by Comrade Michael Igwe who personally presented the chairman and the PRO To the Traditional ruler of Ogbolubiri-Mein Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Johnbull Polokowei, Apiarogun, Ongolo 1
It was gathered that Out of five communities that made up the kingdom, Agbodobiri, Ofonibenghan/Okrika, Gbekebor, Egodor, and Ogbeingbene, only Agbodobiri was able to conclude screening of those qualified to occupy the privileged positions as others were yet to present their nominees to join the kingdom’s executive position.
