Non indegenes across Ndokwa and Ukwani nations have affirmed resolve to vote Social Democratic Party (SDP) candidate, Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi, OON as next governor of Delta state.
President of the Ndokwa Non Indigenes Association, Elder Godwin Edoja, who led teeming exco members of the body to meet Gbagi at a gathering in Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area on Monday, emphasised that the SDP candidate has proven to be the most transparent, disciplined with vast experience and capacity to liberate Delta from successive failed administrations since 1999.
Godwin emphasised, “SDP Progress! SDP Progress! SDP Progress! Government house 2023, na there we dey go, who recognise non Indegenes na him we go dey follow.
“No bi Gbagi get am, no bi Deputy get am, we go do am the way we dey do am right from February till now”.
Gbagi in response, welcomed the development in gratitude to the body, assuring to achieve beyond the expectations of stakeholders when voted into office next year.
He expressed, “Any of una wey anybody find trouble mak una call me, one day one of una say him dey prison, I say wetin happen, he say dem don waka everywhere but nobody fit help am, so na him mak dem com dey look for me so I release am since dat time, him dey carry my matter for head.
“So we have become partners in progress today so if anybody find una trouble, mak una call on me anytime, anyday”.
At the end, the meeting ended in praise and the entire members of the Ndokwa/Ukwuani nation went home rejoicing that God has heard the prayers of the people of Delta state.
