The former minister of state for education and largest private investor in the State made the call on Wednesday May 24th 2023, shortly after the Governorship Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Asaba, adjourned till June 1st for commencement of Pre-hearing.

Speaking to journalists, the renowned Criminologist, explained that the mistake his opponents made was to hold on to the old, which he said would never work.

The security expert vowed that he would never give up on the journey to liberate Delta State, until victory was achieved.

He expressed; “The court has just taken a very short adjournment till 1st of June for all parties to settle their issues and whatever paper invitation they have should be settled before the 1st of June before they come here for a formal pre-trial.

“The mistake some of them made was to think that it is business as usual but having me in the ballot makes a whole lot of difference.

“These people are not qualified abinitio. We have filed a petition to that effect, they have all actually agreed by their replies that they are not qualified.

“INEC itself, have said so and what else there’s to do? Is for the tribunal to do what they need to do at the appropriate time.

“The most important thing, is that if you are not qualified, you are not qualified, you can’t change it in law, you are going to see a lot of that.

“This whole process of the tribunal is to make sure that we don’t get criminals into office again.

“My supporters should rejoice. It is just a matter of time. It is obvious because things are there to prove it. They should rejoice. Patience, is a key element of greatness”, he said.

Also, the State chairman of the party, Chief Mrs. Esther Ikule who corroborated Gbagi’s position, said, “the candidates of the political parties that contested the governorship election are not qualified and that that is true.

“We are seeking for the disqualification of others”, she insisted
