DELTA GUBER: Gbagi Blast Pela For Withdrawing Petition Against PDP, Oborevwori
… say Pela’s candidature was clearly that of witch-hunting
Governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), in the March 18th gubernatorial election in Delta State, Olorogun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi FNIM, OON, has come hard on the flag bearer of Labour Party (LP), Kennedy Pela, for withdrawing his petition against the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) candidate and governor of the state, Sheriff Oborevwori, after he was allegedly promised to be given contracts and some money.
Ken Pela, had on June 1st applied to the tribunal through his lawyers to withdraw his petition against PDP and the Oborevwori.
Gbagi who spoke through his Chief Press Secretary (CPS) Kenneth Orusi, on Monday June 12th 2023, described Pela, as “most disgraceful and shameful fellow”.
The former minister of State for Education insisted that the withdrawal of Kennedy Pela’s petition against the ruling PDP and Oborevwori, is a confirmation that the entire exercise of Kennedy Pela was a game put together by the former governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa.
According to him, “Kennedy Pela, Labour Party fake governorship candidate who filed a petition against PDP and Sheriff has withdrawn his petition by an application put forward by his lawyers.
“It is no news that Kennedy Pela, was never a candidate for election. Everybody in Delta State was never in doubt that the candidature of Kennedy Pela, was clearly that of witch-hunting, trying to damage what God has put together.
“The choice of Kennedy Pela by Okowa, unknowing to Okowa that Kennedy Pela is not Oginibo, at very best, a long visitor whose grandparents were given shelter in Oginibo but does not, giving the nature of Oginibo people, they will do nothing with anybody order than their son.
“Unless in a situation where their son is not interested in whatever the case was. But in any case was but in this particular case, the Oginibo people proved to the whole world that the purpose of Okowa going into his partner in crime, Kennedy Pela, to contest election to be able to divide the vote of the owner of Oginibo, Olorogun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi FNIM, OON who resides in Oginibo with his people was thunderous as Oginibo people proved to the world that Olorogun Gbagi, is an Oginibo man and Pela, no matter the length of a no aborigin in any community as it has been proved by the Oginibo people voted en mass in the entire 11 wards rendering the game plan of Okowa and his contractor, the Pelas useless.
“Okowa gave Kennedy Pela, a small road contract to be able to put up and buy one or two vehicles, bringing him out of trekking and entering motorcycle (Okada) who in their discussion had promised Okowa that with him, I will have no vote in Oginibo talkless of elsewhere.
“The results of the election is a rude shock to Okowa and of course Kennedy Pela is aware that they cannot get a vote where Olorogun Gbagi is in Oginibo, Ughelli and Delta State as a whole.
“There is nothing Okowa did not do to plot, stop, destroy the name of this great man that has turned out surprisingly to everybody in Delta State, Nigeria and the world that going back to Gbagi’s claim in his 50th birthday message that he has no blemish, it has been confirmed.
“At the end of Gbagi’s petition and the replies of all the candidates without mentioning anything against Gbagi but rather concurred and accepted everything Gbagi has said in the 79 page petition as correct.
“Gbagi’s petition is a unique revelation that Delta had has its own share of criminality from the top to bottom.
“The reason why Delta State have been unable to make any progress from its creation to date largely as contained and confirmed in Gbagi’s petition.
“The withdrawal of Kennedy Pela’s petition against PDP and Sheriff is a confirmation that the entire exercise of Kennedy Pela was a game put together by Okowa.
“And Kennedy Pela was a fake agent that took the LP ticket without actually been a member of LP and nothing to do with him being a candidate.
“It is most disgraceful and shameful that a no aborigin, whose grandparents settled in Oginibo could attempt the gamble for monetary pecuniary to attempt to put himself forward for an election an aborigin of Oginibo.
“Kennedy’s pay, which is the road contract that was given to him in Oginibo to be able to defray his cost, is no longer news in Oginibo, Ughelli south and Delta as a whole.
“Kennedy Pela withdrew shamelessly his petition at the tribunal against PDP and Sheriff Oborevwori.
He alleged that “Kennedy Pela, a man who every Ughelli south child now adults remember him with so much pain having defrauded another Oginibo man, Clarkson Majume who set up Ughievwen Community Bank.
“They dupe him and changed the Directorship structure and ownership of Ughievwen Community Bank. One major shock that led to the untimely death Clarkson Majume”.
He also alleged that “As a dubious person finally stole the Ughievwen bank deposits completely shut the bank down. Many persons from Ughievwen and Ughelli south who had deposited money in the bank are still injured and their course unrelentingly has been irresponsibly state of madness of Kennedy Pela.
“Prof. Amos Utuama, was stigmatized when he took Kennedy Pela and gave him appointment as the Chairman of the building society of Delta State.
“As usual, Leopard, have no hiding place and cannot change its skin. Kennedy Pela, stole, N100 million. He tipped his hands into the bank account of the Building Society and transfered N100 million to his personal account in Lagos and ran away from Delta State.
“The money with which he built the house he now lives in Lagos. It is a notorious fact that Kenneth Orogun, who then the Commissioner for Finance, complained so bitterly that the Commission of Enquiry as set up by government and chaired by the Commissioner for Finance.
“Prof. Amos who was in shock who himself at the time vehemently protested the fact that the allegations were all true.
“A situation that led Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan to set up a Review Committee, Chaired and headed by Prof. Utuama. At the end of that review Utuama has this to say, quoting Prof. Utuama, Gbagi said: “Kennedy Pela, is a disgrace to human-hood. Kennedy Pela, is a petty thief, Kennedy Pela, is hereby dismissed from the building society of the State.
“Kennedy Pela, must never be appointed to any office in government of Delta State again. Kennedy Pela, to say the least, is an embarrassment to me personally”.
Speaking further, the Criminologist said that was how Kennedy Pela, crashed out of government, alleging further that there were a number of water projects and other petty contracts that were given to Kennedy Pela and his cronies in Ughelli south that were never done after collecting mobilization.
“It is therefore a notorious shame for Kennedy Pela, to come into the election to attempt to block Gbagi. A situation that proved beyond reasonable doubt that Gbagi is a politician on the ground.
“At least, in Oginibo, 11 wards and Ughelli south and the entire Delta State, except for his mandate that was stolen for which he has gone to the tribunal.
“Oginibo and its people are not surprised at all because they knew Kennedy Pela, was just a mole to disturb, if it was possible, the candidature of Olorogun Gbagi.
“Good radiance, shamelessly that Kennedy Pela, is yet to attain adulthood without a history behind his hungry presence as a politician.
“Everybody who was at the tribunal when Kennedy made that application to withdraw his petition against Sheriff and the PDP, unconfirmed information making the rounds having been given one street contract to construct in Oginibo, is that he will get some more contracts.
“Consequently, some money for his disgraceful outing. Deltans, it is about time in line with Biblical quotes that “take hold of that which is yours by preventing the devourers from taking it”.
“There are so many Kennedy Pela in Delta State and it is important that Deltans localize them and chase them away from the body politics of Delta State. Delta State has suffered tok much with paid agents like Kennedy Pela that has perpetually kept the State below sea level.
“For whatever it is worth, nobody is now is in doubt that Kennedy Pela was an irresponsible mole with the withdrawal of his petition and his return fully to PDP to be able to get crumbs.
“Gbagi’s victory at the tribunal is only a moment or moments away, God, willing”, he assured his teeming supporters and party faithful.
